Ghartal Kalan Football Club showed great performance and reached the semi-final of the Bagiwala Floodlight Tournament, which includes 64 teams.
In the quarter-final, Ghartal FC played an exciting match against 6 Chak FC. The match ended 1-1 after full time. 6 Chak FC scored first, but Ghartal FC’s vice-captain Talha Khan quickly equalized with a fine goal.
The result was decided on penalties, where Ghartal FC won 5-3 with confidence and moved to the semi-final.
The semi-final was played between Ghartal FC and Bhaiwala FC. Bhaiwala played strongly, after a slow first half, they scored three goals in the second half and defeated Ghartal Kalan. With this win, Bhaiwala reached the final, which is a proud moment for the team and their fans.
Ghartal FC also played with spirit and determination. Though they lost, their hard work is appreciated.
