Project Description

The Janaza Gah at Ghartal Kalan stands as a dedicated prayer and ritual space where the community comes together to honor the departed and celebrate the Eid Namaz with dignity. Established on August 23, 2016, the facility was built through the relentless efforts and generous contributions of the local youth, particularly under the guidance of the Anjman Khidmat Islam Foundation. The project involved significant planning and expenditure; for example, the wall adjacent to the site, which required Tuff Tail, cost approximately 10 lakh 30 thousand Pakistani rupees, while all labor and associated expenses contributed to a total investment of nearly 5 million rupees.

This well-constructed Janaza Gah not only provides a solemn environment for the funeral rites in accordance with Islamic traditions but also serves as a venue for Eid prayers attended by the entire village. With all essential facilities including ample seating, effective ventilation through fans, and a thoughtfully designed structure, the space is accessible to everyone irrespective of any limitations. The project reflects the commitment and civic spirit of the Ghartal Kalan youth, who have worked diligently to create a dignified, community-focused landmark that enriches the spiritual lives of all its residents.
