Ghartal Kalan website and Online Presence
For the first time in Pakistan, our village Ghartal Kalan is stepping into the digital age. This is a big step toward the future, and Ghartal Kalan might be the only village in the country with its own website and digital database for important information. Anyone can now access this data online from anywhere in the world. We also have future plans to add online courses, health services, and many other useful features to support our people. This great achievement was made possible by Mr. Salman Waheed, a dedicated software engineer, who worked tirelessly with the support of local youth and respected community members. Together, they turned this vision into reality and are still working hard to make it better. In the beginning, there were development and server setup costs. Now, the project has monthly expenses to keep it running smoothly on cloud servers for reliable access. This digital platform is a proud milestone for Ghartal Kalan and an inspiration for other villages to follow.

CCTV Camera System
In 2022, the residents of Ghartal Kalan Village witnessed a troubling rise in thefts and robberies. Concerned by these events, the youth stepped in with a solution. With the blessing and support of the village elders, they formed the Aman Committee—a community group aimed at restoring peace and safety. The Need for Change For a long time, villagers lived with fear. The continuous incidents of theft and robbery made even simple daily activities stressful. Parents worried about the safety of their children, and the general atmosphere was one of mistrust and anxiety. It was clear that immediate action was necessary to protect the community and restore normalcy. The Introduction of CCTV Cameras One of the key measures taken by the Aman Committee was the installation of CCTV cameras throughout the village. These cameras were not just ordinary ones; they played a crucial role in creating a network of surveillance that monitored key areas. With real-time imaging, the CCTV system enabled the security team to detect suspicious activities immediately. The footage provided clear evidence that could be used to solve crimes quickly and efficiently. The cameras also acted as a deterrent, making potential criminals think twice before committing any illegal activity. Enhancing Security with Modern Technology The installation of CCTV cameras was part of a broader strategy to enhance security using modern technology. Alongside the cameras, the Aman Committee introduced the Thekari Pehra system, a specialized method designed to monitor and record events accurately. This system not only improved the response time of security personnel but also reassured the villagers that their safety was a priority. The combination of these technologies created a comprehensive safety net, ensuring that the village was closely watched round the clock. Community Impact and Benefits The impact of these initiatives was immediate and noticeable. With the CCTV cameras actively monitoring the village, the rate of crime dropped significantly. Villagers reported feeling more secure in their homes and public spaces. Children played freely in the streets, and community gatherings resumed with confidence. The clear reduction in crime allowed everyone to sleep peacefully at night, knowing that a robust security system was in place. Moreover, the enhanced surveillance created a sense of unity among the villagers. People began to work together more closely, sharing information and supporting each other. This collective effort not only made the village safer but also strengthened community bonds and trust. The Aman Committee became a shining example of how modern technology, when combined with community spirit, can lead to a safer and more secure living environment. Looking to the Future The success of the Aman Committee and its technological interventions is a testament to the power of community-led initiatives. The ongoing use of CCTV cameras and advanced monitoring systems will continue to protect Ghartal Kalan Village, serving as an example for other communities facing similar challenges. As technology advances further, these systems will only become more effective, paving the way for a future where safety and security are accessible to everyone. The remarkable transformation in Ghartal Kalan Village reminds us that when technology and community resolve come together, even the most challenging problems can be solved, leading to a peaceful and thriving environment for all.

EID and Janaza Gah (Ghartal Kalan)
The Janaza Gah at Ghartal Kalan stands as a dedicated prayer and ritual space where the community comes together to honor the departed and celebrate the Eid Namaz with dignity. Established on August 23, 2016, the facility was built through the relentless efforts and generous contributions of the local youth, particularly under the guidance of the Anjman Khidmat Islam Foundation. The project involved significant planning and expenditure; for example, the wall adjacent to the site, which required Tuff Tail, cost approximately 10 lakh 30 thousand Pakistani rupees, while all labor and associated expenses contributed to a total investment of nearly 5 million rupees. This well-constructed Janaza Gah not only provides a solemn environment for the funeral rites in accordance with Islamic traditions but also serves as a venue for Eid prayers attended by the entire village. With all essential facilities including ample seating, effective ventilation through fans, and a thoughtfully designed structure, the space is accessible to everyone irrespective of any limitations. The project reflects the commitment and civic spirit of the Ghartal Kalan youth, who have worked diligently to create a dignified, community-focused landmark that enriches the spiritual lives of all its residents.

Al Shifa Free Dispensary
Al Shifa Free Dispensary stands as a shining beacon of hope for the underprivileged residents of Ghartal Kalan. Established in 2010 by the late Muhammad Bashir, son of Muhammad Abdullah, the dispensary was founded with the noble intention of providing free, essential healthcare services to those who could not otherwise afford expensive treatments. The vision was to create a facility where community members could access necessary medicine at little to no cost, thereby easing the financial burdens often associated with healthcare. Under the dedicated management of Dr. Muhammad Abbass, a qualified MBBS doctor, the dispensary has grown into an indispensable resource for the village. Dr. Abbass personally treats patients on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that quality medical care is delivered to everyone in need. While all medicines are provided free of cost, there is only a minimal file fee, making healthcare accessible and affordable for all. This initiative not only reflects the compassionate legacy of its founder but also reinforces the community spirit by directly addressing the pressing health needs of Ghartal Kalan’s residents. The ongoing success of Al Shifa Free Dispensary highlights how dedicated leadership, combined with community trust and support, can lead to lasting positive change in healthcare accessibility.

Water Filtration Plant: A Community Transformation
On December 12, 2014, our village marked a turning point in the battle for clean drinking water with the installation of a state-of-the-art water filtration plant. Before this initiative, residents struggled daily with water that was neither safe nor reliable. The visionary behind this project was Mr. Mushqat, living abroad in the USA, who, along with his son Mr. Muhammad Ashfaq, dedicated their efforts to transform the water supply issue in our community. Investing nearly 2 million Pakistani rupees at the time, the plant was built to serve every household, ensuring that clean, filtered water is now available to all. The project not only improved daily life, but also greatly reduced the incidence of water-related illnesses, benefiting everyone in the village. From that day forward, the maintenance and operational expenses, including electricity bills, have been consistently managed by Mr. Mushtaq, incurring a monthly cost of approximately 60,000 to 100,000 rupees. This project stands as a beacon of hope and an example of how individual contributions can spark significant change. It has unified the community by addressing a critical need, and it underscores the power of visionary leadership, dedicated efforts, and the collective spirit of our village
