Project Description

On December 12, 2014, our village marked a turning point in the battle for clean drinking water with the installation of a state-of-the-art water filtration plant. Before this initiative, residents struggled daily with water that was neither safe nor reliable. The visionary behind this project was Mr. Mushqat, living abroad in the USA, who, along with his son Mr. Muhammad Ashfaq, dedicated their efforts to transform the water supply issue in our community.

Investing nearly 2 million Pakistani rupees at the time, the plant was built to serve every household, ensuring that clean, filtered water is now available to all. The project not only improved daily life, but also greatly reduced the incidence of water-related illnesses, benefiting everyone in the village. From that day forward, the maintenance and operational expenses, including electricity bills, have been consistently managed by Mr. Mushtaq, incurring a monthly cost of approximately 60,000 to 100,000 rupees.

This project stands as a beacon of hope and an example of how individual contributions can spark significant change. It has unified the community by addressing a critical need, and it underscores the power of visionary leadership, dedicated efforts, and the collective spirit of our village
