Col M. Ashraf Arif embarked on a distinguished military career by joining the Pakistan Army in 1968. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in October 1970, marking the beginning of his devoted service. His commitment to duty was evident when he actively participated in the 1971 Indo-Pak War. At PAF Base Sargodha, he played a pivotal role by shooting down enemy aircraft, showcasing his bravery. His outstanding leadership led him to hold various command and staff positions over the years. Throughout his career, he earned immense respect from both peers and superiors. He retired in 1996 as a Lieutenant Colonel, leaving behind a legacy of honor and dedication.
