Biography

Maqbool Ahmad Mujahid was born on January 1925, in Delhi, India, to Muhammad Din and Hussain Bibi of the Abu Zaid family. Despite hailing from a prosperous family of landlords, he dedicated his life to the service and teaching of Islam. Following the partition of India and Pakistan in 1947, he relocated to Ghartal Kalan, Pakistan, where he became a prominent figure in the community. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches tall, Maqbool Ahmad Mujahid was known for his devoutness and commitment to Islamic teachings. He undertook the Hajj pilgrimage twice, in 1952 and 1965, during times when the journey was arduous and primarily conducted by sea
