Arif Husain was born on June 1955 and is a proud son of Ghartal Kalan. He pursued his education during very difficult times, showing great dedication and hard work. Despite the challenges, he rose to become a top scientist in Pakistan. He joined Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) on 9th February 1980. Over the years, he served as the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at KRL. He worked closely with Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, the father of Pakistan’s nuclear program. Arif Husain was part of the team that played a major role in making Pakistan a nuclear power. His journey from a small village to a top position in science is truly inspiring.
