Abdul Sattar, son of Muhammad Ali, was born on October 1, 1963, in the village of Ghartal Kalan. He received his early education from 144 RB School and later completed his matriculation from Government High School Salarwala. In 1983, he started his professional career by joining WAPDA as an Assistant Line Man, with his first posting in Sargodha. Later, in 1995, he was transferred to the Chak Jhumra Division.
From the beginning of his career, Abdul Sattar was known as a hardworking, honest, and kind-hearted man. He always treated his duty as a form of service, not just a job. During the later years of his service, he was assigned to bill recovery work, but his compassion always showed through. Whenever he found a poor or struggling person unable to pay their electricity bill, he would quietly pay it from his own pocket without expecting anything in return. This generosity made him deeply respected among his colleagues and the community alike.
